Lisa C. Wadsworth

Lisa brings extensive clinical know-how and ergonomic expertise to BIE Tech Dental.  Lisa began her career in dentistry in 1976 as a certified dental assistant, progressing through certifications in implant surgical assisting and on to a degree in Dental Hygiene.

The old adage “Do as I say, not as I did” drew Lisa to partner with Mark Spilman to bring the educational component to BIE Tech Inc. Helping clinicians understand that improper ergonomic practices can cause musculoskeletal damage that will jeopardize your career is one of Lisa's educational goals. Through knowledge and hands- on examples of proper instrumentation, seating and magnification we can prevent you from suffering the musculoskeletal damage that plagues our profession.

With over three decades of experience in the implant and periodontal arenas, Lisa enjoys lecturing on a national scale and providing coaching to integrate periodontal-implant therapy and correct ergonomic positioning/technology into your practice.

Published nationally since 2004 in such publications as Modern Hygienist, Implant News and Views, Dental Practice Report, Dental Assisting Digest and RDH Magazine, she provides information that you can quickly utilize in your practice. Her work with Dental Implant education has placed her on the cover of Dentistry Today as a leader in CE since December 2007.
